Labor and Film Collection at WCSU

The Ruth Haas Library owns a special collection of videos about labor.  Most of the videos in this collection were donated by a local union -- the WesConn Area Local of the American Postal Workers Union AFL-CIO.

Any one wishing to borrow a video from the collection should contact the library directly.  Over a period of time, we will link each video to CONSULS (the online catalog of the CSU libraries), so you can read the library's brief summary of each video, and check the video's availability.

Unlinked videos are not yet catalogued.

Also check out the article "Solidarity (and Films) Forever: a reviewers pick of union movies" by Emma Wunsch of The Washington Free Press,

and the book Working stiffs, union maids, reds, and riffraff:  an organized guide to films about labor by Tom Zaniello.
