| Bea Prunty's passion in art lies
in color and light. Basically an en plein air landscape painter, Bea
credits Margaret Grimes' and
Plonia Nixon's work as her
inspiration.
Her 1983 teaching degree in English is complemented by a May 2000 BA in Studio Arts from WestConn and she is pursuing her MFA. Her work hangs in the T. Kevin Murtha Corporate Law offices in New York, in the Marge Bell collection and locally at WestConn in the Vice President's office. Bea also continues to sell and show her oils and watercolors privately out of her Red Door Studio. |
