| Ed Little
was born, educated and married in the UK, emigrating to the US in 1983.
Becoming a US Citizen and raising a family he has spent the past twenty
years fulfilling commissions first in the advertising and publishing world
and then in the design and creation of murals and trompe l’oeil effects for
sophisticated and discerning clients in the United States and Europe.
Graduating summa cum laude from Ravensbourne College of Art in London, England, Ed Little is an MFA Editorial and Information design graduate. A self educated artist he utilizes classical oil painting techniques to create elegant and dramatic murals and to create paintings available for purchase as original or fine art prints. Producing some of the finest mural work to be found in this specialty today, Ed continues the tradition of the 17th and 18th Italian muralists in creating paintings that are works of art, not merely decoration. His paintings decorate homes in Connecticut, in Chicago, Florida, in Manhattan and on Long Island, in New York State, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, France and in the UK. In addition to his Mural assignments Edward Little is an accomplished portrait artist and has achieved distinction through a range of prestigious commissions that include inaugural Presidential portraits, Chairmen of Fortune 500 Companies and collections for the Postal Commemorative Society. |
