Michael Serao

Michael Serao has been a professional painter and photographer for forty years. He received his BFA from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, and his MFA from Bradley University, both in Painting. Upon graduation, he studied Filmmaking at NYU's Continuing Education Program, and later owned and operated a Photography and Video Production studio with his wife, Claire Mortilla, for many years.

His painting is represented in a number of private collections, and he has served approximately 300 corporate and individual photography clients. 

Michael has taught Drawing, Painting, Design and Photography classes many area colleges and Adult Education programs, as well as tutoring individuals in those subjects. He is currently teaching Design1 at WCSU. He can be reached at seraom@ymail.com
