Jim
Gabianelli states,
“All
my life I have spent time around cars, trucks, motorcycles, and heavy
equipment. As a young boy, I developed a fascination with the aesthetics of
each machine. As I have grown and matured, my interest in the mechanical
aspect of things grew as well.
Consequently, my recent art has become a physical representation of the
duality of form and function which makes each machine unique.” when
discussing his hyperrealist, intensely colored auto studies.
