| Melissa Hatch
has completed her first year as an MFA student at WCSU. She is
taking some time off to paint as well as by request and now has her work
online at Murals by Melissa.
She is always interested in freelance illustration work. She is hoping to
get Mina Malina Has Lost Her Spots, her first children's book, published in
the near future. This book won the 2002 Tassy Walden Award: New Voices
in Children's Literature and First Prize in the Tassys (2004) for her Young
Adult Fantasy novel, Azi's Story. The Tassy is sponsored by the
Shoreline Arts Alliance
in Guilford, CT. If anyone is interested in having a mural painted in their home or workplace. |
