Mounira Stott (MFA '04)

Mounira Stott has a love of art and her desire to associate with fellow artists and for these reasons came to WestConn to receive her MFA.  She works with oils and other media, showing her work in Connecticut and Moscow, Russia. 

Mounira has studied painting the human figure with Steven Brown, landscape and still life with Kirill Doron, drawing and painting at Naugatuck Valley Community College and received a professional certificate with high honors at the Moscow College of Artistic Professionals in Moscow.  She is the co-founder of the Moon Era Fine Arts in Southbury, CT.  She has received several art awards  and can be reached at mounira55@yahoo.com

Mounira also has her work on her own web site www.mounirastott.com and is working as an exhibition installer at the Aldrich Museum in Ridgefield.

Mounira was featured in a one-woman show in Kazan, Tatarstan, Russia in June 2005.
