BIOGRAPHY
Founder of the Western Connecticut State University Department of Criminal Justice in 1976, later named the Division of Justice and Law Administration. Dr. Francis J. Muska has a cast background of experience in higher education administration that illustrates the ability to direct and lead, communicate, plan, manage, teach, objectively evaluate, and effectively work with diverse groups. Highly motivated with over ten years of direct administrative experience in higher education, as well as an additional thirteen years of full-time teaching experience, four of which included the department chairmanship at Western.
Administrative duties and supervisory areas have included:

- Governmental Affairs
- Chief Administrator in charge of the University Libraries and the Inter-Collegiate Athletic Program
- Served as Executive Assistant to the President and have substantial consulting and fund-raising experience in both the public and private sectors.
