ACC 406 - Accounting Information Systems
3 semester hours
The study of the process of accounting information systems - how data are captured, processed, stored, and disseminated; the communication aspects of accounting information systems; the concept of responsibility accounting; the organization aspects of accounting information systems; and the use of system-documentation tools such as flowcharts.
Prerequisites: ACC 303, ACC 361, MIS 260
