A student seeking admission into the Master of Arts program in Biological and Environmental Sciences must meet the following requirements, in addition to the general requirements described in the WCSU Graduate Catalog:

 
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in the Biological Sciences, with a GPA of at least 2.50; or equivalent background.
 
Final admission requires approval by the Biology Program Coordinator and the Associate Director of Graduate Studies.

An applicant with an undergraduate GPA of less than 2.50 may submit Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores in support of his or her application. Both the undergraduate record and GRE scores will then be considered.

The Biology Graduate Coordinator is Dr. Richard Halliburton.
The Associate Director of Graduate Studies is Christopher Shankle (203) 837-9005.
