Master of Arts in Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science offers one options for the Master of Arts in Mathematics: the Theoretical option the student who wishes to earn the degree Master of Arts in Mathematics must have received a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with (a) a major in mathematics and have demonstrated competence in undergraduate mathematics; or must have received written permission from the Chairperson of the Mathematics and Computer Science Department, or his/her designee. Most courses are offered at least once in a four-year cycle.
