Earth & Planetary Science (EPS) is an all-encompassing label for those sciences directly related to the study of Earth and other planets. Disciplines within EPS include atmospheric science, physical oceanography, physical geology and planetary physics.
Our M.A. in Earth & Planetary Sciences can prepare you for your future. An advanced degree opens doors for employment with government agencies (National Weather Service, Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection) or private industry. For secondary educators the WCSU course structure is flexible, supporting additional certification in physics or earth science; a Master's Degree may lead to a higher salary and greater responsibility.
