The Office of Institutional Advancement at WestConn expands alumni relations and programs, conducts fund raising and scholarship distribution, and creates and disseminates a unified image for the university. This office encompasses Alumni Relations; Development; and University Relations, which includes Public Relations and University Publications and Design.

Working with others from the university and Greater Danbury communities, Institutional Advancement aims to "advance" the goals of the university. Our staff members conduct programs to help alumni and their families nurture their connection to the university, work with our generous donors to administer a number of student scholarships that support excellence in education, and produce several publications to get out the word about the exciting people and happenings on our campuses. We work closely with the members of the WCSU Alumni Association Inc. and the WCSU Foundation Inc. to keep changing lives.
