On Saturday, May 3, 2008, the WCSU Foundation will host its annual ball at an exciting new location: the Feldman Arena in the William O’Neill Convocation Center located on WestConn's Westside campus, Lake Avenue Extension in Danbury. This year’s event will feature dinner/dancing, silent auction and a raffle for a trip to Italy, and will honor Anthony and Roberta Caraluzzi for their strong support of WCSU and our community.
Longtime university benefactors, the Caraluzzis have supported the WCSU Foundation, Inc. and the Caraluzzi Scholarship Foundation among their many charitable causes. Anthony Caraluzzi’s Bethel Food Market, Georgetown Market and Nutmeg Liquors are well-respected local businesses and the Caraluzzis have shared their success by making significant contributions to enhance the community through their emphasis on academic excellence and opportunity.
Past balls have netted more than $95,000 and we are counting on community support to help us exceed this goal. Wayne Shepperd is the Honorary Chair for this year’s prestigious event.
