Short Courses Abroad (Faculty Led)

Short courses abroad are an excellent opportunity for learning about a new culture while being taught and mentored by WCSU faculty. National trends show an increase is short courses abroad and that can be seen in the increasing participation in WCSU’s Global Academy. WCSU will be adding more short courses to our growing list of opportunities for 2010.

Wintersession in Florence, Italy – January 2010

Earn 3 credits in Intermediate Italian Language this wintersession in the magnificent city of FLORENCE, ITALY!

The course will be taught by WCSU's Patrizia Farina on the campus of the Florence University of the Arts.  Students will live in local apartments in double rooms, take an Italian cooking lesson with a local professional chef, study Intermediate Italian at least 5 days per week, visit the historical towns of San Gimignano and Lucca on weekends, and explore all that this breathtaking city has to offer!

Spain (Summer 2010)
