Short Courses Abroad (Faculty Led)
Short courses abroad are an excellent opportunity for learning about a new culture while being taught and mentored by WCSU faculty. National trends show an increase is short courses abroad and that can be seen in the increasing participation in WCSU’s Global Academy. WCSU will be adding more short courses to our growing list of opportunities for 2010.
Puerto Rico - Summer 2010
Dr. Alex Standish will be teaching a 8 day course in June 2010:GEO/NWC 298: Latin America: A Regional Study of Puerto Rico and The Caribbean, Summer !, June 5-13. (3 credits)
Spanish is NOT required.
Students will visit the cities/towns of San Jose, Aguadilla and Mayaguez and explore the mountains, caverns, beaches, culture and economy of this beautiful island.

Spain (Summer 2010)
Earn 6 credits this summer in Spain with WCSU! Spanish language/culture and Art will be taught in June in the gorgeous city of Madrid. Email Dr. Galina Bakhtiarova for more information.
