Patricia Lutnes, a resident of Southbury, CT, holds the title of Professor Emeritus of Music at the University of Connecticut, from which she retired after thirty years of service. She is a student of Karl Ulrich Schnabel and has also studied with Eduard Steuermann.

She has performed in solo concerts and with orchestras and chamber groups throughout the United States, including the Ives Festival in Danbury, CT. Recently, she appeared as soloist in a program sponsored by the Rockefeller Foundation at the Villa Serbilone in Bellagio, Italy. Ms. Lutnes has also taught at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington, The Hartford Conservatory of Music in CT, The Dalcroze School of Music in New York City and is now associated with Western Connecticut State University in Danbury, CT where she teaches piano, sight-singing and ear-training.

She holds academic degrees in Piano Performance from the University of Washington and was awarded the Certificate and Diploma from L'Institut Jaques-Dalcroze in Geneva, Switzerland.
