One Book, One Community 2009
On August 24, a press conference was held at the Haas Library to kick off the 2nd ONE BOOK, ONE COMMUNITY program. WestConn, the Danbury Public Library and the Danbury Schools have partnered to create "One Book, One Community," a series of events aimed at encouraging the entire community to read the same book, "Hurry Down Sunshine" by Michael Greenberg.
