We’re so glad you’re considering our university and would like information about attending our Open House. There you’ll meet our outstanding faculty, receive degree-program information and discuss financial aid and housing options. We’ll even provide plenty of food and tours of our outstanding facilities.
While you and your family are welcome to attend any of these Open House events, each venue is tailored to a specific audience.
While the Fall Open House is for high school seniors, transfer students or anyone who would like more information about the university, our Spring Open House is geared primarily for high school juniors. We also offer a Graduate Open House and an Open House at Western at Waterbury.
If you would like to tour our campuses –– before or after these events –– e-mail wcsutours@wcsu.edu and schedule a tour. As you browse the facilities and stroll our brick-paver walkways, we’ll answer your questions and give you a sense of what life would be like as a WestConn student.

Fall 2008 Open House - A Look Back
More than 900 prospective students, along with their families, attended the November 2nd Open House. Unprecedented numbers of potential applicants and their families visited our two campuses, met with faculty, staff and students and gained information that we hope will influence positively their intention to apply, and if accepted, to attend our university.
