SmartEnforcer Removal Instructions

Before installing Clean Access, you must first remove SmartEnforcer from your computer. The following instructions are for PC users who have Windows 98 or higher ONLY.

To remove SmartEnforcer from your computer, please logout from the network by clicking cancel on the SmartEnforcer window ( Step 1 ), and then follow these steps:

  1. Click Cancel to logout from your current network sessions ( Figure 1.0 )
  2. Once you hit Cancel, you are back to the SmartEnforcer Login Screen ( Figure 1.1 )
  3. Right-Click the "e" icon in your system tray to close Smart Enforcer Agent ( Figure 1.2 )
  4. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Add or Remove Programs.
    ( Figure 1.3 )
  5. In the Currently installed programs box, click the SmartEnforcer program that you want to remove, and then click Change (or Change/Remove). ( Figure 1.4 )
  6. If you are prompted to confirm the removal of the program, click Yes. ( Figure 1.5 )
  7. If you are you are prompted to close SmartEnforcer Agent at this stage, please go back to Step 1 ( Figure 1.7 )
