Former WestConn number one singles and doubles standout Stacy Slater took over the helm of the women's program on August 1, 2006 announced Director of Athletics Ed Farrington.
The men's coach will be announced at a later date.
Slater's collegiate playing career at WestConn ended in the fall of 2003. That season she went 6-4, the majority of the time at #1 or #2 singles in individual matches and 7-3 at number one doubles.
