Becca Stein was named the most valuable player of the Johnson & Wales Fall Classic as she lead Western Connecticut to a 4-0 mark, defeating a pair of Little East teams en route to the championship.

In the final day of the tournament, Stein reached double digits in kills against Plymouth State (17) and Johnson & Wales (16). For the week, she registered 55 kills (3.44 kpg) with a .526 hitting percentage, nine block solos and eight block assists for 17 total blocks (1.06 bpg).
