DANBURY, CT (Oct. 24) — Senior Becca Stein (Kingston, NY) recorded 25 kills and eight blocks to lead the Western Connecticut State University Volleyball team to a 3-2 comeback victory over Babson College as action continued at the WestConn Classic Saturday at Feldman Arena.

In Saturday’s second match, Wesleyan avoided a fifth game with a 26-24 game-four win over Vassar and a 3-1 victory in the match.

In the final match of the day, Wesleyan ran out to a 2-0 lead taking game one 25-21 and game two 27-25.  WestConn dominated from start to finish in game three, winning 25-9, but Wesleyan again came up with the big points with the game on the line taking game four 26-24 and the match, 3-1.
