
Technology in the Spotlight - Connect Suite
The Connect Suite is a collection of web-based services brought to you by a collaboration between WestConn and Microsoft. The suite includes services such as: ConnectMail, WestConn's new e-mail system; Office Live, a document collaboration tool; and SkyDrive, an online file storage service. The Connect Suite doesn't end there! There are many other collaboration and communication tools built in to the suite. Throughout the year, we will be highlighting some of the services that the Connect Suite offers, so be sure to check back!
ConnectMail
WestConn's new e-mail system, delivered by Microsoft Live@Edu, is replacing Lotus Notes. Immediate benefits include a robust web interface and a 10GB inbox.

Office Live
Office Live gives you the opportunity to collaborate on documents and view Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files from anywhere that you have an internet connection. You can store up to 5 GB and share your workspaces with other users.
Resources:
SkyDrive, a feature of ConnectMail, offers 25 GB of data storage for you to store documents, photos, and internet favorites online.
