"Puppetpalooza" at
the Ives Concert Park 1 pm Sunday July 13th, 2008 on the
Westside Campus.
Liz Popiel along
with Don Stitt have put together a wonderful show for
young audiences and there families. Our WestConn theatre
students
both perform and run a puppet making workshop after the
performance. Come rain or shine as it all takes place
under the cover of the Ives Stage.

Professional actor and playwright Dale Allen will stage
"In Our Right Minds" at 7 p.m. in the Student Center
Theater on the WestConn Midtown campus, 181 White St. in
Danbury. The performance will feature a history of
female leaders throughout time. It will be free and the

Mar. 6 - 8, 2008
The WestConn theatre arts department, in
cooperation with the music department, will present The
Who's "Tommy" in the Berkshire Theatre in Berkshire Hall
on the university's Midtown campus, 181 White St. in
Danbury. Performances will be at 8 p.m. on Thursday,
March 6; Friday, March 7; and Saturday, March 8, with a
2 p.m. matinee on March 8. Ticket prices will be $20 for
adults and $15 for senior citizens and non-WestConn
students. WestConn students will be admitted free with
valid ID. Call the Berkshire Theatre Box Office at (203)

Seventh," a production depicting the experiences of
women forced into sex slavery in Bosnia-Herzegovina, at
7 p.m. in the Student Center Theater on the university's
Midtown campus, 181 White St. in Danbury. The
performance will be free and the public is invited. For

Mar 2 2008 Chris Van Jura '05 and Cheri Haller '06 are currently working
together with the Elephant Ensemble Theater company (www.elephanttheater.com)
on their production of 'Thumbelina' which performs at
NYC area hospitals for sick children.

From Jul. 1"SHALAMAZOO"
MUSICAL THEATRE: "Shalamazoo," a children's
musical
theatre
show based on the children's book of the same name, will
be at 1:15 p.m. at the Ives Concert Park on the WestConn
Westside campus, Lake Avenue Extension in Danbury. The
show is suitable for children 4 and up and seating is
limited. Joe Shaboo '98,
the book's author, will be on hand to sign autographs.
